Attention Track Athletes, please make sure you have signed up for the invitational and hand in your t-shirt order form.

Congratulations to Jason Chou who is the Zone 4 Midget Boy Badminton Champion from yesterday’s tournament. Also playing well and finishing 3rd, was Kali Hyatt and Konner Floyd. Jason will now move on to SOSSA next week. Go patriots!

Tomorrow is Rankin Run kick off day. We are asking everyone who has a Rankin Run shirt to wear it.  If you do not have a shirt, wear Orange in honour of our Survivors. We will have an assembly tomorrow p.3.

Boys Slo-Pitch tryouts continue today after school. Practice will start in the gym with catching and pitching. Then we will move outside for some batting practice.

G U I D A N C E
Today in Period 1, all students will receive a Course Request Verification Form from your teacher.  Take this form home, discuss your choices with your parent/guardian, make any necessary changes and return this form to Guidance no later than May 1.  After this date, no further changes will be allowed until you register and receive your timetable in August.

Grads!  A new scholarship has arrived!  If you are of Ukrainian heritage, please see Guidance!  The Czerevko Scholarship application is available for a $2,000 award!  The deadline is Thursday, June 1.

MILITARY CO-OP
Great news from Canadian Forces. Back by popular demand - the Military Co-op program is returning to the DSBN for second semester next year. It's a chance to get training by Canadian Armed Forces while earning co-op credits toward graduation. The application deadline is in October 2018. If this interests you, please see either Mr. Balsom in the Co-op office after next Monday, or visit the Guidance Office for more information.
