Please dismiss the Boys and Girls curling teams at the end of Period 4 for their playoff off. Ames. Team members, please meet by the gym foyer before heading to the club.           

The Brock Women’s Hockey team is hosting their annual “Pink in the Rink” game this Friday, February 15th at 7:15pm at the Seymour-Hannah arena in St.Catharines.  If you would like FREE tickets all you have to do is email tickets@brocku.ca

Badminton- there is a badminton practice tonight from 6:00-8:30 in the gym. All are welcome - proper gym attire is required.

Good luck to Aidan Gowans today as he competes in Thorold at the Zone Wrestling Championships!

The Junior Boys Basketball team will have a practice today after school.  If you can't make it, please talk to Mr. Jabs today.

Fitness memberships are now available for semester two.  Please see Mr. Jabs or Ms. Goodwin if you are interested in buying one.

G U I D A N C E
Course selection counselling continues today.  Please refer to the schedule that has been posted in all classrooms and throughout the school.  Reminder to some students that you still need to bring a signed copy of your choices to Guidance.

Today is the last day to make a Semester 2 timetable change.  Please sign up for a MSIP appointment in Guidance.  Follow your current timetable until your change is officially made by Guidance.

Youth Leadership opportunities are now being sought for various Rotary programs.

1) The Adventures in Citizenship program will send a representative in Grade 11 or 12 to Ottawa to exchange ideas with 220 other High School students across Canada at the end of April to explore and debate what Canadian Citizenship means to them. This program is intended to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of citizenship in Canada.

2) The Slapshot program offers age 15-18 years olds a weekend opportunity in Ancaster, April 26-28th. Your leadership skills will be enhanced as you join with local youth to promote, celebrate, and foster youth leadership. Please see the Guidance by Feb 28th for contact info. Interviews will take place March 6th.

E U R O P E   T R I P - Any student interested in the 2021 community trip to Florence, Rome, Athens with a 3-day cruise around the Greek Islands is invited to bring their parents to a meeting next Wednesday, Feb 20 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the lower caf.  If you are not able to attend, your parents may still come.  Please see Mme Orasanin for further details.
