MSIP TRAVEL
Just a firm reminder that students must obtain a travel slip from the teacher they want to see BEFORE MSIP begins.  Students must present a travel slip that has been fully completed by the destination teacher to their MSIP teacher in order to travel.  This is a privilege that will be revoked for behavioural issues.  Keep in mind that your teacher’s classroom rules and expectations apply in MSIP classes.

Thanks to everyone who attended the first Secord Sports Night.  It was a great turnout. Big thanks to our Athletic Council and to Mr. Jabs and Ms. for giving their time to supervise. Fun night of sports and activities.

Attention all Wrestlers.  Our first practice is Wednesday, November 1st. All are welcome, any age, any grade and any size. Come try something new. See Cros for more info.

If there are any students new to Secord from another high school and wish to play in the winter sports season you must fill in a transfer form or you will not be allowed to play.

What an amazing day for Cross Country yesterday! Not only did the weather co-operate (minus a few gusts of wind) but Laura Secord Patriots rocked the Fireman's Park course! We had personal bests for Niah Fiorino and Lucy Teminski in the first race and then the Midget boys team of Brendan Damiano, Wyatt Paugh, Shinwoo Li, and Ben Stewart edged out Governor Simcoe by 1 point for a 3rd place finish to move on to SOSSA next week! Then our 2 senior girls Mackenzie Damiano (the unofficial Zone 4 champ at press time) and Leah Klassen qualified as top 10 individual runners. And to finish off the day, Kevin Diep qualified for Senior Boys and “Aws the House” and Markus Hale held their own on the challenging course. Great work team! Have a great weekend and we will see you on Monday!
